In this notice, you will read the following most concerned topics on school fees payment. Please read carefully. If you do not obey as required, you will take all the responsibilities by yourself.

This notice is for 2017/2018/2019 degree students. Language and CSC students are not included.

Q1: When is the payment deadline?

The payment deadline is December 31st, 2020. School will check and publish the payment result after the deadline.

Q2: How can I pay the school fees?

Alipay is the ONLY way to make your payment. If you insist paying in other ways, it will NOT be checked and will NOT be regarded as your payment.

Q3: Do I need to submit payment proof?

You can save the payment result yourself, but you DON’T need to submit payment proof to teacher after paying through Alipay. The payment result is checked by smart systems so DON’T try to play tricks or your dishonest behavior will cause disciplinary action to yourself.

Q4: How much should I pay?

Please refer to the school fee details in the WeChat group. You must understand that the scholarship will be CANCELLED if you apply suspension or dropout, which means you must pay FULL amount the next time you apply to resume.

Q5: Do I need to pay dorm fees if I am currently out of Wenzhou?

If your registered place is in dorm (D area) but you are out of Wenzhou, your dorm fees will STILL be charged.

Q6: Can I ask my friend to pay for me through Alipay?

Yes, you can ask your friend to pay to your student ID in the Alipay, but you should be careful just in case you may be cheated by your friend. Please note this is your decision and school take NO responsibility if you are cheated.

Q7: What’s the consequence if I don’t pay school fees after the deadline?

Student must pay full school fees via ALIPAY before the deadline. No excuse will be accepted. If your payment is not completed, you will face FORCED DROPOUT, which means you will not be a WZU student. If you are in China, your visa will be cancelled accordingly, and you MUST LEAVE dorm and China within two weeks.

Q8: If I have scholarship, does it mean I have paid part of the school fees?

No. If your scholarship does not cover your full school fees, it means your payment is still NOT completed. You will also face FORCED DROPOUT if your payment is not completed before the deadline.

Q9: When can I get my Zhejiang government scholarship?

For Zhejiang government scholarship winners, the scholarship will be used as your school fees of academic year 2020. If there is a balance, it will be transferred to your ICBC card later. If it is not enough for your school fees, you must pay the rest. If you are abroad, you can only apply to get the balance after returning to China.

Q10: How will the dorm refund (due to COVID-19) be handled?

According to relevant policy, except some international students (already be posted in WeChat group) whose dorm refund will be given back to their bank card, other students’ dorm refund will be used for tuition fee or dorm fee of 2020-2021 academic year and CANNOT be withdrawn later due to later suspension or dropout. If you choose to quit or suspend your study after December 3, there will NOT be dorm refund to you as the money is used for 2020-2021 academic year fee.
