Most of our international students’ insurance will expire during the summer vacation. To protect your safety in China, it strongly recommends you renew your insurance after reading this notice, just in case you don’t have budget for it before the deadline.
Who should renew the insurance?
Students who continue to study in WZU must pay insurance. These include:
l Current students who will study in the next academic year.
l Graduated students who have been admitted for WZU postgraduate programs.
I am out of China. Do I still need to renew insurance?
Yes, you MUST keep your insurance in a “non-interrupted” status, or some of your medical or accident expenses can’t be covered by insurance company.

How much should I pay?
Insurance is extended by year. The 6-month plan (400 yuan) is for short term students. Don’t choose this option. You should pay 12-month plan (800 yuan). The new insurance will be valid automatically when the previous one is due.
What will I face if my insurance gets expired?
Students with invalid insurance will face the following consequences:
l Student will be withdrawn (expelled) from Wenzhou University according to the school's rules for "student status management". It means you are no longer a WZU student.
l The visa will be cancelled by immigration office soon.
l Student must move out of dorm and leave China in two weeks.
